Welcome to Academic English UAE. By accessing our website, enrolling in our courses, or using our editing and proofreading services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your use of our services, so please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to engage with Academic English UAE. If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, please refrain from using our services.

2. Scope of Services

Academic English UAE provides the following services:

1. Language Training

   • IELTS Preparation (Academic & General)

   • TOEFL Preparation

   • EMSAT Preparation

   • Academic English Tuition

2. Editing & Proofreading

   • MA & PhD Thesis Editing

   • Journal Manuscript Editing

   • Proofreading Services

   • Formatting (APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, and custom)

3. Specialized Support

   • Academic CV & Personal Statement Editing

   • Publication Preparation Guidance

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any service at our sole discretion.

3. Enrolment & Registration

• To enroll in any language training program, you must complete the registration process and provide accurate personal information.

• Enrolment is confirmed only after full or partial payment, as communicated at the time of booking.

• Academic English UAE reserves the right to reject or cancel enrolment if false information is provided or if the student fails to comply with these terms.

4. Payment & Pricing

• Fees for all services will be communicated clearly prior to registration or engagement.

• All payments must be made in the agreed currency through approved payment methods.

• Academic English UAE reserves the right to adjust fees at any time. However, once enrolled, students will not be charged additional fees for the same course/service.

• Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated under our Refund Policy (see Section 5).

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

• Language Training Courses: Refunds are available only if a cancellation request is submitted in writing at least 7 days before the scheduled start date. After this period, no refunds will be issued.

• Editing & Proofreading Services: Once editing has commenced, no refund will be issued. Partial refunds may be considered if work has not yet begun.

• Specialized Support Services: Refunds are not applicable once work has started.

• In the event that Academic English UAE cancels a service, a full refund will be issued.

6. Student/Client Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information when registering or submitting documents.

• Attend classes, training sessions, or consultations on time.

• Submit documents for editing/proofreading in a timely manner, allowing sufficient turnaround time.

• Refrain from plagiarism or unethical academic practices. Academic English UAE will not engage in writing original academic work (e.g., essays, dissertations) on behalf of clients.

7. Academic Integrity

Academic English UAE is committed to upholding academic integrity. We provide language training, editing, and support services to improve clarity, accuracy, and professionalism in academic work. However:

• We do not write or produce academic assignments, theses, or dissertations on behalf of students.

• We will not be held responsible for academic misconduct, plagiarism, or disciplinary actions taken by educational institutions.

• Clients remain fully responsible for their submitted work and academic outcomes.

8. Intellectual Property

• All study materials, training resources, and course content provided by Academic English UAE remain the intellectual property of the company.

• Clients are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use these materials for personal learning purposes only.

• Redistribution, resale, or unauthorized sharing of materials is strictly prohibited.

9. Confidentiality & Privacy

• All client information and submitted documents are treated with strict confidentiality.

• Academic English UAE will not share, sell, or distribute your information to third parties, except where legally required.

• Edited documents remain the property of the client, and no copies will be stored beyond the agreed retention period.

10. Service Limitations & Disclaimers

• Academic English UAE makes every effort to deliver high-quality training and editing services. However, we do not guarantee specific grades, band scores, or publication acceptance.

• Editing services are provided to improve clarity, grammar, and formatting. The final responsibility for accuracy, originality, and compliance with institutional requirements rests with the client.

• Language training success depends on individual effort, attendance, and practice.

11. Liability

• Academic English UAE shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

• We are not responsible for rejection of manuscripts, failure to achieve target test scores, or academic penalties related to client submissions.

• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the respective service.

12. Rescheduling & Missed Sessions

• Students must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule training sessions.

• Failure to attend a scheduled class without notice will result in the session being forfeited, with no refund or rescheduling option.

• Academic English UAE reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, with reasonable prior notice to the student.

13. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if a client:

• Provides false or misleading information.

• Engages in disruptive or unethical behavior.

• Violates these Terms & Conditions.

No refunds will be issued in cases of termination due to misconduct.

14. External Links

Our website may contain links to external sites. Academic English UAE is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites.

15. Changes to Terms & Conditions

Academic English UAE reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients are encouraged to review this page regularly for changes. Continued use of services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
